Camino de la Estrada was conceived from its inception as an urban and landscape project to create a neighborhood at the entrance to Comillas. The three phases of multi-family housing are designed as a continuation of the updating of Cantabrian architectural typologies, in this case using the volumes of traditional manor houses as a unifying element.

The design incorporates a variety of roof styles, combining hipped and gabled roofs, variations in building heights, and unique facade elements in the form of contemporary bay windows.

The living areas of the apartments face south and are staggered to allow for views of the Picos de Europa mountains.

The interiors are bright and spacious, and feature the same high-quality finishes as the single-family home phases.

Each phase includes interior gardens and communal spaces for residents. The color of the woodwork distinguishes each phase, creating a varied urban landscape within a consistent architectural style.
