Conceptually and aesthetically transform of a listed building by “shedding its skin”, as happens in nature. A skin that will also change color with the wind.

The challenge of transform the space below a roof into a living space, in a listed building became the essence of this project. Playing with light and reflections, from a tilted mirror, gave us the solution.

Recovering a 19th century wooden structure and making light the main component of the space are the starting points for this attic of a residential and listed building.

Due to the plot, type C villa has its access from the upper floor, the public area runs on the middle floor and the private area, bedrooms, is on the ground floor.
